WIFEL is KCA University initiative in reaching out and empowering the women for economic growththrough career, entrepreneurship and leadership capacity building.
WIFEL is based on creating an efficient ecosystem by launching new interactions platforms, strengthening existing support systems and connecting women to this enabling environment. The model pools extradordinary women (leading women scholars, leaders, entrepreneurs and CEOs) to influence ordinary women for sustainable change, growth and advancement.
Activities include;
- An annual conference that brings together various key stakeholders and influencers in the woman advancement agenda providing them with a platform that will begin discussions and enhance patnership in line with the theme.
- Accelerate; This is a programme that aims to scale up 20-30 women owned companies with an annual turnover of KES 5M to enter global market. We have patnered with BSD Group, Deloitte, Software Technologies, Nairobi Stock Exchange, Women on Boards and 30% Club
- WIFEL LEAD; this is a mentorship and capacity building programme that aims at assisting women with great potential to take up top leadership in their respective organizations. Our knowledge patners include OWIT, KNCCI, Kenya bankers Association, AWAK, KNCCI, PKF etc
