Innovation and Incubation Officer
Alexander Njuguna is an accomplished innovation leader at KCA University, recognized for driving transformative initiatives that bridge the gap between research and market commercialization. With a strong academic background in economics and computing, Alexander brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to innovation management, blending analytical rigor with technological insight.
He has played a pivotal role in establishing KCAU’s Incubation Center as a hub for innovation, driving initiatives that empower students and staff to transform research into market-ready solutions. Notably, Alexander received special recognition at the university’s 16th & 17th graduation ceremony for his outstanding contributions to research and innovation.
Alexander has successfully organized flagship events such as the KCAU Innovation Week and Industry Summit, which bring together thought leaders, industry experts, and innovators to showcase groundbreaking ideas. He has also received thorough training in Incubation Leadership and Innovation Management, led by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and advanced intellectual property management training through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
