Mr. Paulus Adamba is a Post-graduate student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, working under the mentorship of  Dr. Bernard Kanoi of Mount Kenya University, Kenya. His research interest is on molecular immunology in relation to vaccine development. Adamba is among a large research team at The Centre for Malaria Elimination, Institute of Tropical Medicine, Mount Kenya University, Thika, Kenya. He is currently working on a research project “Assessing the kinetic of protective antibodies in pregnancy-associated malaria using Wheat germ cell-free system synthesized recombinant Plasmodium falciparum protein” among pregnant women in Webuye, Western Kenya, as part of a larger project of antigenic profiling among Kenyan women. a project funded by European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCPT2), to help in identification of vaccine antigen target with focus on developing vaccine against placental malaria. Adamba also works at KCA University in the health service department. He has experience in working in Histopathology Laboratory at Aghakan University Hospital, Kisumu. He is a registered member of Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board and Africa International Biomedical and Biotechnology Conference.
