The directorate pursues a number of initiatives, among them are:
To create and enhance innovation and entrepreneurship awareness among KCA students. Towards this end we will be hosting an entrepreneurship week in November 2021, Business plan competitions and an entrepreneurship conference by mid 2022.
Create linkages between KCA and various stakeholders. One way in which we are do this is to open the arms and invite many stakeholders to be partners not only in executing, but also in planning. We as KCA, can provide the environment and coordinate the thought leadership, but we need as many partners as possible to support with resources, ideas, side-events etc
Sponsorship of innovative ideas among the students
Establishing a vibrant consultancy wing to provide solutions to industry
Capacity building for industry
Facilitating global linkages to enhance the recruitment of international students and faculty
