Writing a Winning Grant Proposal
The Innovation, Incubation and Linkages Directorate in the Research, Innovation and Outreach Division will be hosting a discussion forum based on Entrepreneurship in the Creative Industry.
The Fundamentals of Grant Writing Discussion Series will have the second Workshop on Tuesday, 28th June 2022 at Block C, Main Campus and it will be physical. The Keynote speaker will be Prof. Chris A. Shisanya.
KCA University is organizing the 1st Interdisciplinary Conference on Innovations and Sustainability as part of its mission to connect science with the real world. The conference aims at contributing towards achievements of the SDGs through theoretical and empirical studies.
Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment (YEM) is a program that supports young people to venture into entrepreneurs through coaching and mentorship. This is the second edition of the program since its inception last year funded by the British Council. The program now brings on board partners such as Alumni Connect who will focus on coaching, SME Founders Association for mentorship programmes, Ruaraka Business Community (RUBICO) for industry linkages whereas KCA University will be the knowledge partner and will provide entrepreneurship-specific training.
We are partnering with Alumni Connect for goal setting and Vision board webinar from tonight 24th to 28th.
The challenge is to provide solutions through a website or mobile application in the following areas:
Good Health and Well-being,
Quality Education,
Clean Water and Sanitation,
Affordable and Clean Energy,
Decent Work and Economic Growth,
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure,
Sustainable Cities and Communities,
Responsible Consumption and Production,
Climate Action
This discussion will focus on how lectures can commercialize research findings.
