Isaiah Were is a seasoned corporate communications practitioner with 10 years of work experience in both public and private sector. Skilled and experienced in Media Relations, Strategic Communication, Media Management and Outreach (both electronic, print, and web content including social media), Writing, Media Monitoring, Crisis Management Communication, Branding Management, Public Relations and Photography. He is a full member of Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK).

Isaiah is a graduate of St. Paul’s University, with qualifications in B. A Communication (Mass Communication), Diploma Technology in Journalism and Mass Communication (Broadcast Option) Technical University of Kenya.

Isaiah is presently working as Program Officer for KCA University Research, Innovation and Outreach where he coordinates and supports day-to-day communications and outreach efforts of the division. He previously served as KCA University Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer.

Isaiah was instrumental in raising the KCA University profile through strategic brand positioning and reputation management.

He has also had a stint in the mainstream media working as a reporter with Kenya New Agency (KNA) Mombasa bureau and Radio Umoja in Nairobi.

Isaiah is a regular media commentator who has published several opinion pieces on issues of national interest in the major dailies and has made several appearances in a number of media stations.
