Alvin Maase is the visionary behind UzimaNexus, an online system aimed at automating healthcare providers across Africa. The current version of this system, which is being piloted at Tawil Surgical Center, has successfully automated the clinic’s entire business processes. The project is in continuous development, with upgrades being implemented based on user feedback. While UzimaNexus is still in its pilot phase, its potential to revolutionize healthcare management in Africa is immense, with more innovations on the horizon.

Jacinta Kazenzi has developed "She’s Safe," a project offering vital security information to enhance the safety of women and vulnerable individuals in local communities. Her innovative approach was recognized as one of the top 30 projects selected for a prestigious training program by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Division for Prosperity and the People of Japan. Over four months, Jacinta engaged with experts from leading global companies like IBM and Microsoft, strengthening her resolve to leverage technology for positive change and expanding her professional network in the tech industry.

Rayfrank Muriithi and his team, Bombardier, created "Cyberverse," a groundbreaking project that utilizes cybersecurity and emerging tech innovations to build a metaverse. This platform helps learners understand cybersecurity challenges through interactive games and puzzles. Their innovation earned them the Best Innovation Award (1st Runners-Up) at the 2024 National Research Fund (NRF) Hackathon, positioning them as leaders in the integration of cybersecurity education with immersive technology.

Cyberverse
Led by Samson Mutori, along with Raphael Wahome and Victor Ng’ang’a, Farmwise offers an affordable smart brooder designed specifically for poultry farmers in Kenya. The team has successfully installed their system for farmers in Nyeri and Kikuyu, designed a custom PCB for the smart brooder, and is currently in the final stages of testing and programming its interface. The project has been patented through the Kenya Industrial Property Institute via the KCAU Incubation Center.

Farmwise
Anthony Chege has pioneered an innovative approach to waste management through his Agritech startup, which converts organic waste into inorganic manure using Black Soldier Fly technology. Operating in slum areas, his project processes 6 tonnes of organic waste monthly, producing 2.5 tonnes of organic manure and 500 kg of wet larvae, which are further converted into animal feed. In just one year, Chege’s project has secured a consultancy with the Mama Doing Good Project, led by the First Lady, to promote sustainable farming in Uasin Gishu and Nandi County
