A Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge Hub
The Centre for Road Safety and Accident Surveillance Research (CRSASR) is KCA University's multi-disciplinary knowledge hub for advancing road safety through research, innovation and collaboration.
We bring together researchers, policymakers, industry and communities to generate knowledge and practical solutions that improve road safety and promote sustainable urban mobility in Kenya and the broader East African region — bridging the gap between data and decision-making.
Commissioning Message
Speaking during the Centre's launch, Prof. Wakindiki noted that while road safety has long been discussed nationally, no university had previously established a dedicated research centre to generate scientific evidence and practical solutions.

St. John Ambulance, AA Kenya and NTSA joined a co-creation workshop that guided the CRSASR implementation committee.
Official Commissioning of CRSASR
Commissioned by VC & CEO Prof. Isaiah Wakindiki as Kenya's first university-based multidisciplinary centre dedicated to road safety and accident surveillance.
